BigWig Fun Fact: BigWig Bio - about the BigWig
Why are you participating?
When I was in high school, many years ago, I had a part-time job at Rexall Drugstore. I worked with a 70-year-old man, John Galyon, who had been working there since he was 19 years old. Every single day for three years I worked there, John would say to me “Richard, don’t let the good life pass you by!" Good advice that I’ve never forgotten.
When it comes to breast cancer it touches me on a personal level. My daughter-in-law was diagnosed in September 2018 and well we all saw the hardship and struggle that she endured. Fortunately for her she had the means and ability to get the treatment procedures that she needed to be healed and cured. Unfortunately, not every breast cancer victim has these capabilities and that is why I am campaigning, for Komen as a BigWig, to help this very worthy cause. Let’s do all we can to fundraise and provide means for those who can’t help themselves.
Let’s end breast cancer!
