Hello Family and Friends!
I would like to start out by saying "Thank You" Again for your support and participation in the 2015 Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Walk/Run.
This is the 20th annual Susan G. Komen Knoxville Race for the Cure® and my 5TH YEAR Cancer Free!!!!Yes the Race is upon us once again, and I am asking for your help to reach our team goal of $5,000, but of course we can definitely raise more. I have a personal goal of $5,000, so if any of you would like to set a personal goal to help the team reach its goal that would be GREAT!! Can I count on your support to assist me in this fundraising effort? Komen for the Cure works hard to provide education, screening and treatment that saves lives in our communities 75% of the money received goes back into the community with the remaining funds being used fund cancer research. Now is the time to help. Komen Knoxville needs our help. By providing funds to Komen Knoxville, you can be a part of their promise to end breast cancer forever.
I have set up the team site for you to register under if you would like to participate in the Race/Walk for the Cure. The team name is the same as last year "Operation McKinney-Threat". Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. The Knoxville Affiliate joins more than 100,000 breast cancer survivors and activists around the globe as part of the world’s largest and most progressive grassroots network fighting breast cancer.
You will automatically receive an acknowledgment from the Knoxville Affiliate and I will be notified by e-mail of your support. Together we are truly making a difference in the fight against breast cancer. Thanks in advance for your support and participation!
Love and Blessings,
